Mission Statement

  • • Enhance relationships among Anoka County residents by providing voluntary mediation services,
    • Promote and education the Anoka County community in alternative dispute resolution techniques which encourage peace and harmony in the community; and
    • Supplement the legal system by providing an alternative process for dispute resolution.

  • Dave Bartholomay – Executive Director

  • Dave became the Executive Director in July, 2011 replacing Kathi Jensen upon her retirement. Dave is passionate about improving the quality of life all across Anoka County and brings a good mix of public, private and nonprofit leadership experience, He also serves as the Mayor of Circle Pines and is very involved in his church and in supporting his school district. Dave has taken the Rule 114 mediator training and is very excited about joining the Mediation Services for Anoka County team.

  • Judy DuCharme – Administrative Assistant

  • Judy joined Mediation Services for Anoka County in June, 2011. She has non-profit administrative support experience working for the City of Brooklyn Park and the Minneapolis YMCA. Judy also brings project management skills to Mediation Services from various private sector positions.

  • Nancy Ernewein – Restorative Justice Specialist
    nancye@mediationservice.org

  • Nancy has been a volunteer mediator for Mediation Sevices for Anoka County for 10 years for all programs and a previous board member for nearly 2 years. She is a pastor of a Coon Rapids church and also has a home design and staging company.
  • She lives with her family in Columbia Heights.

    Please call ahead for mediation information. Mediations are scheduled during the day, weekday evenings, and select Saturday mornings.
