Kathi Jensen
Executive Director

Kathi Jensen
, Program Services Manager, holds a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and a bachelor of science in Language Arts from Winona State University.
 
She has a strong background in language arts and education and has worked with families and children of all ages as a community volunteer, elected school board member, teacher, speech coach, writer, and juvenile justice coordinator. Her most recent position as coordinator of a pilot Restorative Justice program for youthful offenders won a state award.

Ms. Jensen has primary responsibility for delivering mediation services to  programs including Shared Parenting and Parenting-Time Expediting, Community and Victim Offender.   

Experiencing mediation and several years of litigation during her own divorce has given Ms.Jensen new empathy for families in crisis. Her world view is to look positively on life's challenges and use her creative energy and skills to help others. Ms. Jensen knows first-hand that everyone comes to the mediation table with different perspectives and needs and that the mediation process provides the central fulcrum to keep the table level to provide a win-win situation for all.

Enhance relationships among Anoka County residents by providing voluntary mediation services,

Promote and educate the
 Anoka County community in alternative dispute resolution
techniques which encourage peace and harmony in the community; and

Supplement the legal system by providing an alternative process for dispute resolution.
