Victim-Offender Dialogue (VOD) is a process used to gain understanding of harm when it is committed and an opportunity for healing.

A trained MARS mediator will have an initial conversation (pre-session) with all participants in order to prepare for the dialogue. There may be multiple meetings to prepare both the victim and offender before an in-person or virtual meeting between them is arranged. Victims and Offenders can have a support person
present for the VOD.
